Villa Yerakina: The perfect setting for your Greek island holiday
The modern spacious villa sleeps 10
Yerakina is situated high in the hills at the northern end of the island of Zakynthos - the Venetian 'Zante' or flower of the Levant. With stunning panoramic views over olive groves and cypress trees, you look across the aquamarine sea to mainland Greece and Cephalonia. At 1000 ft above sea level you escape the heat and humidity of the coast below and yet the sea and the English run Peligoni club are a mere 10 minute drive down the hill from the villa. Within easy reach are hidden coves, ancient monasteries and a wonderful variety of tavernas.
The Peligoni Club - Extensive Sailing & Wind surfing facilities

Lower level: A further double studio bedroom with ensuite shower room, basin and loo. The utility room houses a washing machine & boiler. Separate pool room. You can get to Zakynthos by ferry from the mainland port of Kyllini but most of our guests prefer to fly to Zakynthos with its new modern terminal and flights from many destinations. The drive to Yerakina from the airport takes about 45 minutes. Your route takes you through vineyards before rising into the hills and then back down to the coastal road as you head North towards Port St. Nicholas. We often stop for lunch at a taverna in Micro Nisi (literally Little Island). It's a charming little cove where the restaurant nestles into the hillside and where you can be served a delicious lunch and a glass of wine under the shade of the juniper trees before proceeding up the hill to the Villa, just 15 minutes away.
